Who we are

Sam Edwards

Writer-director Sam Edwards, a recent Bachelor of Communications graduate from the University of Newcastle, specialises in Media Arts Production. He received a 7.0 GPA, the Vice-Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Award, and multiple College Commendation List placements. Sam’s projects, including "Grown-Up," "More Than Friends," and "Fortune And Glory," have won University of Newcastle’s Newbie Awards. Currently, he freelances as a videographer and media creator, with credits on "Under the Red" and "Strangers in a Carpark."

Kia Pugh

Producer and editor Kia Pugh, recipient of the 2023 Newbie Award for “Emerging Professional Artist,” excels in independent and documentary filmmaking. A Communications graduate majoring in Media Arts Production, Kia’s works "Grown-Up," "Hunger," and "Forever, Maybe" have qualified for festival circuits. She has worked with Good Eye Deer Productions and True Screen Acting, and her documentary "Teavagaraga na Joey go Marina" has been showcased in the National Museum of Vanuatu.

Eve Prior Shoebridge

Eve Prior Shoebridge, producer and production designer, graduated with Distinction from the University of Newcastle in 2022. She has been passionate about filmmaking since childhood, producing and writing for short films like "Grown-Up" and "Olives," both of which have been featured in festivals.
