A passion project inspired by timeless murder mysteries and mafia movies alongside modern classics like Knives Out and The Bear, To The Tooth is a dynamic and heartfelt comedy with a knife-sharp edge.

Artie is a bright-eyed Italian chef who has recently reopened L'atessa, a bistro that her father used to run. But when the dead body of a mafia hitman appears in the restaurant and dredges up old traumas, Artie must re-evaluate her relationship with her staff, her past, and the restaurant itself to uncover the truth and make it to the final course.
With a menu this big, you can never have too many cooks. Our team is made up of a wide range of decorated indie filmmakers from across Australia - all of whom are contributing their skills, experience and insight to the project.
